For Beauty’s Sake: Autumnal wedding

Every once in a while, you see something that is so gorgeous you have to stop and simply take it in. It may be a cryastalline dewdrop on a leaf, a richly-hued sunset, a baby’s smile, the wrinkled, aged hands of a grandmother, or a breeching, blowing whale. Beauty is all around us. To celebrate it, we will have a feature called: For Beauty’s Sake. Here, we’ll share images of things we find simply, well, beautiful.

We saw this wedding online and gasped; it was bewitching, divine, unique. Meet Ja’hnie and Nate. Their Alaskan wilderness nuptials were reminiscent of pagans in the woods and travelling circuses. Photographed by Joshua Veldstra Photography, the muted tones and natural touches, supplemented by stilted walkers, caravans, and abundant textiles created an atmosphere of lush wickedness. We loved it.

Gratitude to the bride, groom, and photographer for granting us permission to share the images of their special day, the staff of LadyFaire Living wishes you all happiness as you start your married life.
